enter determinant codes using the PROQA system, give medical instructions
over the phone and pre-arrival instructions, dispatch ambulances to hospitals
and track their locations, put units en route, on scene, transporting, at
destination and complete. Enter mileage into the CAD system with en route, on
scene, transporting and at destination. Track with GPS and mapping systems
where the units are located and determine the closest ambulance to the
facility or call. Set up ambulance units and enter employee I.D.’s into CAD,
perform CPR over the phone if necessary, take incoming phone calls from other
police agencies and sheriff offices for ambulance or aircraft services,
dispatch ambulances via the radio to hospitals and medical facilities,
emergency rooms and psych facilities. Answer units over the radio. Check all
my calls for accuracy and QA. I use maps and mapsco’s daily. I know my cities
and locations very well. I use common sense and have a very high accuracy
with entering addresses into CAD. My accomplishments include the
Communications manager stating that I have the #1 highest volume of calls
entered and phone calls answered of all employees in the communications

Fax and email court documents to other police agencies and courts. Enter
Protective Orders into the Tiburon system, send and answer teletypes to/from
other police departments. Run serial numbers on articles, electronics, etc to
check for stolen and also enter stolen articles into the National Database.

number and do validations (check Tiburon system) for accuracy, proof read all
